Why consider an Arm Tuck with Dr. Todd Case in Tucson?
An arm tuck can improve the upper arm area by removing excess fat deposits that cause sagging and tighten loose skin for a more sculpted, refined look. This procedure may be especially beneficial following dramatic weight loss.
How it's done
The surgery lasts 1-2 hours. An incision is usually made in the armpit, extending along the inside of the arm to the elbow, enabling excess fat and skin to be removed.
Side Effects/Risks
Common side effects of an arm tuck include swelling and discomfort, which can be managed with medication.
Healing Process
Following surgery, the arms will be bandaged. Patients wear a compression wrap for 2-3 weeks. Any brachioplasty swelling should improve within 14 days. Patients can return to work within 3 to 7 days and resume exercise three weeks after the surgery.
